Just like you, I am an everyday person, juggling health, fitness, family and work. I don't believe in spending ridiculous hours working out, or eating a diet with a huge restriction on calories. I believe in finding balance in your life, so that you can work hard and play easy!

As a Physical Trainer in the Health and Fitness industry for over 20 years, I have worked with people of all fitness levels, life experiences and challenges. And whether I’ve been training Army enlistees, elite sportspeople and teams, or males and females of all ages and stages of life, one thing has remained the same - my determination to help them become physically the best versions of themselves.

During the 17 years I spent in the New Zealand Army, I was lucky to be given a top-class PT education at the Joint Services Physical Training (PT) School, and I loved my job as the first female Physical Training Instructor (PTI) in the New Zealand Army Physical Training Corps.

Even with all my knowledge and experience I still managed to fall into an unhealthy eating trap after leaving the Army, so I know how easy it is to let bad habits creep in. Breaking free of those damaging patterns, and getting my own weight, health and fitness back on track left me with a determination to help others. It also changed my perspective from a hardened Army PTI, to a more understanding and realistic trainer, with the skills to work with people of all ages and fitness levels.

I’ve helped thousands of people to achieve fantastic results in my physical Boot Camp classes at my training facility in West Melton, on the outskirts of Christchurch.  I now want to reach out to even more people and help to tackle the obesity epidemic that is sweeping the world. That’s why I’ve created my exciting online training programmes.

Qualifications:  NZ Defence Force Advanced Course Qualified Physical Training Instructor (PTI), for over 10 years.  Diploma in Fitness, NZQA accredited in Fitness, Recreation, Facility Management and Adult Education. Qualified Advanced Boxerfit Trainer and Reps Registered Exercise Professional.
